These two eggs were made from Tasmanian Blackwood, with Huon Pine Insert,
The Egg's were hand turned to Shape.
And the Egg Cups were turned with a Cup Skirt which was cut to a Three Legged Stand, firstly by Band Saw, and Finally by Sanding on the lathe with a Spindle wrapped with Abrasive Paper.
The Eggs were Finished with Micro Mesh to 12000, then 2 coats of CA, Micro Mesh for the last 4 grades, then a coat of Renaissance Wax.
All Critiques and Comments are welcome.
(Sorry for the Side on Photographs, I do not know how to rotate them.)
Regards,
Brian.

Wonderful turning! Simply adding the segment adds to the eggoscope as well as the cup.
Well done!

Many thanks, Charlie for your kind words.
These were an excellent "Rut Breaker', the "change of the challenge" gave my mind as well well as my body, just what was needed, and broke any monotony that was developing.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas my friend.
Kindest regards,
Brian.
