Not letting this get in the way of having productive shop time.
I will admit it's irritating as hell though.
Hopefully be on the mend in about a month 🙏🏻

Sorry to hear that.
Several years back I got the shot when I was allowed to by my HMO.
Wouldn't you know it, I got a very mild case about a year later. I was fortunate the slight rash I got on my shoulder did not cause any discomfort.

Good luck getting through this.

That's too bad. They can be really awful. I had mine in July 2019, on the left side of my forehead and face down onto my eyelid. Fortunately no lesions on my eye itself as I understand that is even possible, but my left eye was swelled completely shut for about a week. I don't know what would be worse, on the torso and back or on the face, but at least I could lay on my back to sleep without any pain. It left a big light colored lightning bold looking kind of scar right in the middle of my forehead that hasn't gone away yet.

I hope you get over them quickly.

Regards,
Dave

Not aware of your age or insurance coverage but Medicare covers a two-level shot for shingles. I have been told by people who have gone through this illness and they relate the same as you. I didn't want to go through a similar situation and got the shots. Hope you get better soon.

I got the Shingrix Vacine a year or so ago and hopefully if I do get it it will be really mild. I've heard that back of the knees and under the pits are the worst. Speedy recovery.

I'm only 44 so it's not covered. I'll be going out of pocket on the vaccine once this heals.

Yeah its In my right underarm and going down my side. I would agree it's slightly unpleasant.

I highly recommend the shingles vaccine, I had the shingles pre vaccine and again 2 years after I was vaccinated. The pain was a killer the first time, and as predicted by my Doctor, a minor irritant the second time.
