I love Mark Detrick's work. I ordered a bunch on these in all different colors. I finish this one with Mercury's thin and medium flex CA.

I am please to say that my pictures continue to get worse, but at a slower rate .

The finish really has a lot of depth. How many coats of CA did you use to accomplish that?

If nothing else, you should find comfort in knowing that not even poor photography skills detract from the beauty of that pen. What a finish!

Thank you. I will the photography right one day.

2 coats of thin..about 15 of medium. I wanted to ensure that the cones couldn't be felt. I have made them both ways...it is just how I chose to finish it this time.

Usually, 2 coats of thing and 6 to 10 coats of medium.
