Jr. Gent II in Cypress with a cigar band

Nothing fancy, just wanted to try something a little different with the Jr. Gent II kit.
The pen is black titanium with cypress, 6 coats of CA on the body with about 12 on the cap. The cigar band is under the CA coats.

I'm planning on taking it by a local cigar shop to see if they are interested in carrying an assortment of pens. The worst they can say is "YES".

Nice, I assume you can't feel the edges of the band? If not, very impressive.

Have you thought about trying it on a cigar pen as well, to give the cigar shop some options?

I like it. Will be interesting to see if it sells. Keep us posted.

Your pen looks great! I tried a few cigar illusion pens also. They turned out well but I could only give them as gifts due to the trademark issues with the commercial cigar bands. I've thought about designing my own band to be able to sell these.

The edges of the band aren't felt just a slight transition.
The cigar shop just opened but is interested in them for promo items. Talks cheap as "they say".
I have done a band on a cigar pen. The shop did request a cigar pen with a particular band.
