Jr. Gent II FP in Madreperlato Burgundy

Pen # 100!!! This is my second fountain pen. This is a Jr. Gent II in Gold TN. I turned the Madreperlato Burgundy blank from Exotic Blanks and finished it to 12000mm and One-Step.

I struggled with the lighting on this one...thus the pink background. The blank has lots of depth and variation but the pictures just don't do it justice.

Well done!!!

One of the things I have learned is photographing red or purple is a PAIN!!!

This shipment of burgundy seems to be a little more "purple--y" than usual---looks nice, but not the color we thought we ordered!!!

Thanks for showing---I have one glued up in my shop, if I ever get to turning again!!
