Jr Gent & Diamond Cast

Got this one completed yesterday. At the suggestion of blank's maker, Tim McKinzie, I finished this one with CA instead of just buffing out. Really helped to bring out the effect of the diamond dust. Tried using natural light to show it--still looks much better in person!!

Thanks!! Tim's comment about using CA was very helpful, really brought out the sparkle, and helped with the contrasts in the Alumite as well. Gotta say, it was really unnatural to start applying the CA--but after 2 coats, I was sold on the idea.

Earl that looks fantastic! I know it's more work than just polishing but the CA overcomes the slight disadvantage alumilite has over some other resins for sure. Beautiful pen.
