I think I have the answer, but wanted to make sure prior to making any orders...do the sections from the rollerball and fountain pen versions of the Jr. Gent 2 simply replace each other or are there other factors I have to worry about?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Yep... Swap it out (and take out the spring if a fountain pen) and your good to go. The spring can stay if you are using shorter ink, but it can catch at the back of a longer one or the refillable part if you use bottled ink.

They used to be interchangeable, but there have been some recent threads reporting new problems exchanging sections between the RB and Fountain. If this is important you should contact your supplier to verify that the kits they will be supplying you will interchange. Make them check (if they haven't recently) rather than assuming their current stock is just like their older stock.

Here's a link to one of the discussions:

OR consider the Atrax, Triton family. Berea is not changing their manufacturing source--the nibs always have interchanged and no alteration of that policy is expected.

YES, I did confirm this with them!

This is the way I would go. Exotics even sells the a kit to make them postable.
