Ha ha ha. Just kidding. I was sent here to ask you about a drill chuck. I am in need of one that will accept larger drill bits. More specifically one that can handle 12.5 mm bits for the Jr. Gent II. I wouldn't mind if it could handle the 31/64" for the Churchill/Ligero either...but not imperative right now. The CS website says theirs can handle up to 1/2" bits and I'm not sure if the 12.5mm is too big or not.

12.5mm is just smaller than 1/2" if I am not mistaken.

I drill with a normal drill chuck with that size all the time. I believe it is only a 1/2" sized chuck.

12.5mm and 31/64" will both fit in a 1/2" chuck. The larger bits I have (35/64" and 9/16") have 1/2" shanks so they work with a 1/2" chuck also.

as some have mentioned, a 1/2" chuck will work fine for the 12.5mm and 31/64" bits.
They can all be found on my website under "lathe accesories". And all are on sale through the end of the month, limited to on hand stock.

I have (3) models in stock at this time,and each is paired with an MT2 arbor.
1/2" keyless
5/8" keyless
5/8" key type
