jet pen lathe

Got a JPL-358 since I was just beginning..am gonna upgrade but meanwhile I'm not sure what taper the mandrel is..says in the manual MT-O... does the match either the Morse 1 or 2? Thank for any help! George

George, the morse taper for that lathe is O. You can get an adapter to use MT-1 or MT-2 if you need to and for most pen turning, those are the most popular. Robbie
