Jet Mini Lathe Question

I have the manual speed mini. Does anyone know of a way to convert it to variable speed with much trouble and expense?

My usual advise is to sell it as-is then buy a VS version.

PSI sells a conversion kit. It was just recently on sale, don't know if it still is.

I just did the PSI conversion...about $100, and even I, the mechanically challenged, had no trouble with the setup. well worth the $100.
