I think that all the talk of problems with our lathes are jinxing us-
I started to turn a 1 1/2" square X 13" long maple blank for a back scratcher using my Woodchuck pen pro when it just barely touches the wood I can hear the motor start to slow down. I just replaced the bearings in the headstock a couple of months ago. I have read all of the tips that I could find but no answer. I checked the belt tension also. I have never looked at the VS motor on my lathe so I am not sure if there are bearings causing the problem or the VS control? Any ideas would be appreciated. Of course I just finished relocating all of the tools in my shop to work easier.:frown: Thank you in advance.
