Jet DC 500 dust collector

I purchased a Jet DC 500 dust collector about 6 yrs ago and have had to replace the impeller 2 times. Now it needs replaced again.
But the impeller is discontinued everywhere I check. I have read that I am not the only one that had this problem.
So what did jet do instead of fixing the problem in design they just discontinued making that model and the parts including the impeller.
Anyone have a DC 500 with a bad motor wanting to sell the impeller?

Is that the plastic impellar?? They had huge problems with them. Not sure if this helps but for the price it as much as the unit basically when they were on sale.

I am sure you can do an upgrade and probably even get a metal one. Just need to do some searching for proper size.

Yea it's the plastic one.
The last 2 I replaced I was paying $30 for through eReplacemant parts. Since they discontinued them these company's have jacked up the price.
Yes it is not worth it now. I am looking into a new one.
