Jet bandsaw score!

At least I hope its a good score. It pays to check craigslist at random times. Did this afternoon and just listed was a Jet JWBS-12OS in almost new condition. $200 later its in the back of my van! Wow, is this heavy! Now I can get rid of my crappy 3 wheel Shopcraft that has ruined more than one blank.

You do know that saw is unsafe at any speed. Just like the Corvettes of old. Better to step away and let a expert disarm it. Might be too dangerous. If I did not have a Powermatic already I would help you out with your problem. Be very careful with that saw. It will cut your favorite wood to pieces in very little time.

Nice score! That was really a good deal and the band saws looks like in a very great condition. You must be really excited to make some sample cuts.

We seldom 'find' anything in that great of shape. Tools here get handed down to family members and friends.
