Just wanted to let everyone know that I received, installed and tested (2) tailstock nuts/locks from JohnnyCNC. They work superb . . . slide smooth and lock solid with minimal effort.

Thank you Johnny for a very well made product . . . even my sometimes skeptical wife could see the difference . . .

These were very well machined from steel with beveled & chamfered edges . . .

So, if your tailstock is slipping, you might want to contact JohnnyCNC . . .

Now I need to contact him to order (2) more for our banjos . . .

Thats my version of a review . . . .

Steve: I have never seen anyone post about a problem with banjos slipping. Typically, the forces on banjos are perpendicular to the ways and should not cause slippage.

Do you actually have a problem with your banjos slipping or are you just taking a preventative measure??

Well to be honest . . .

Well to be honest, it's not often now days you can really buy ANYTHING well made . . .

I think of it like tools, every time I see something new and innovative that I might can use, and it is made in America, I buy it quick, before it is sent overseas . . . :-)

Besides, these things look really cool . . . and my banjo will never, never slip . . . even when my wife "wimpy hand" tightens it . . . I have eliminated potential complaining during shop time . .

Also, when Johnny CNC is multi-million dollar operation, I'll posses some of his product prior to the out sourcing to China when he is bringing in containers full of these . . .
