Jacksonville here I come

Well I am heading down there this Friday, and coming back on Monday. Have a wedding to go to, and Marley is going with me. I am not looking forward to the drive. I remember in my younger days getting off work on Friday, jumping in my truck and driving down and heading back Sunday around noon.

What does getting older have to do with it other than...more pit stops....fighting sleep at the wheel...aches and pains in your legs and back...worse night vision...,

As a former Floridian, I envy you. Do you know how many Waffle Houses there are between Va and Fla? Hundreds. I'd stop at every one and have a pecan waffle. Finest cuisine in the world. Truth be told though their grits aren't that good.
