Was a little successful in some of the last E-Bay sales on Pre-Ban Ivory. Don't have pictures of all of it. First picture is one sale the other two are from several for the ivory from piano keys. I also got an additional 5.8 lbs of ivory and 1.1 lbs of mamoth plus a few more pounds of smaller stuff that will give me plenty to pick through for some smaller inlays.

nice haul

Ice Age Fossils is set-up to sell the mammoth off-cuts already on the website (I went looking yesterday). Ebay took down all their Mammoth Ivory listing on the 1st of course. So don't worry that ebay has gone psycho once again, the supplier will just find other venues, or make their own.

Good score! I hope I am not responsible for this.

I also bought a big piece from a vendor for cheap (I think ) regretting now that I didn't buy more.

Anyway, yes some ivory vendors already set up other venues (i.e. their own website). During the last month, most did a blitz and actually started emailing most of their "bidders" to give their new venue.

Some vendors are sneaky and still sell at eBay. If you use the "right" words (like "mammoth fossil") you will find them. It will be just a matter of time before eBay filter those too though.
