No big deal other than it has been 143 days since I (us phx area folks) last saw any. That and its finally a good excuse for not mowing the lawn.

It might be raining at your house.....
But it is snowing at mine [:0]
It has been about 6 years since the last snow fall in Cave Creek. This is at 2400 ft. elevation. I think it's all JimGo's fault [:(!] He flew into town yesterday and now he is gone. I gues he was here long enough to drop off the cold. [:D]

I will say, nothing is pretier, than desert snow [:)]

Had to take a shop break, to get these pics taken

Just had one bad A** snow ball fight, just to show my kids,
the old man still has it [:D]
Unofficially 2.5" snowfall, could be a record for Cave Creek [:0]

If you haven't had rain in 143 days, I'm surprised you have any grass left at all?? [:D][:D]

The first and only time I ever saw Segauro Cactus, the limbs had about three inches of snow on them. Thats when I figured out why the cowboys in the movies had warm clothes.

HEY!

Quit throwing those snowballs and get those pencils done!

BTW: it's sunny and 60 degrees today.

You're welcome Anthony! I'm sorry I missed the snow fall, but I'm glad i could bring it with me and help you guys out! I was also REALLY sorry I missed meeting up with you. I couldn't believe how close I was t Cave Creek when I was there! I really wish my client hadn't pushed the meeting back. As it wsa, we barely got to the airport in time for our flight!

Thats sweet Anthony, but I'm glad you got the snow and not me. I'll take the rain though, of course in a few weeks the weeds will take over my yard. Oh well, the price we pay huh.

You couldn't find a snow shovel within a 100 miles of here. [:D]

Glad we played around in it, allready melted and gone. May get some more tonight, it is cold enough. Don't mind snow, every 6 years [:D]

Yea Jim, you were close.....

Scott, that may not happen, I made a dozen Sierra's today, half were flats, but the set he wants in a certain resin, I have busted 3 of them trying to get the flats cut. I finally gave up and moved onto something else.

After seeing those beautiful pictures on the "snow cactus" I will cross global-warming off my list of things to worry about for tonight. Those are really gorgeous photos, I may print out a few of them just add to my wall o'photos in my office at school. Should cause some good conversations. BTW- it's about 70 and sunny here today.[8D]
