The 7th annual Birthday Bash for The IAP is coming . There will be contests and prizes galore . For all you new members , this is when we celebrate the founding of this great site . We do this every year and everyone is welcome to join in and have some fun and maybe even win some great prizes .
There will be something for everyone , Trivia contests , Pen making contests and more . Whether you are a seasoned member or a complete Noob , there will be something for you to do .
If your one of those people who just lurk in the background , come in out of the cold and join in the fun , you'll be glad you did !
The fun begins on Febuary 1 , 2011 . Don't miss it !!!!

I thought that it was going to be held at the ultra-secret IAP world headquarters. Of course, since it's ultra-secret, we didn't tell anybody where it is, and we forgot where we put it. Oh well, maybe someone will find it again before next year. :befuddled::biggrin:
 
I've been anxiously awaiting this ever since I found last year's birthday bash forum and looked through all the contests and great prizes. I'd love to win something, but it seems like the official "losers" club is pretty cool too. :biggrin:
 
This is my first chance. When does it start, 00:00 2/1/11? Or is there a more sensible start time for the non-night owls?

It starts when we get off our collective arses and get the rules posted for the different contests :biggrin: Officially it starts at 12:01 AM on 2/1/11 but I doubt that it will start on time .... but you never know so keep checking in :wink:

If we could remember the ultra secret headquarters location , everyone would get FREE low cost airfare to and from the place (donated by our own Daddy Warbucks (Ken) Bitshird , but since we hid it sooooo well we will have to settle for here at the IAP site . Remember though , the secret handshake is required for admittance ..... OK I'm lying , there's no secret handshake but you will need the magic decoder ring to read the posts .... OK I'm lying again you won't need the magic decoder ring but .... :rolleyes:

This is going to be the best Bash yet with tons of prizes and some really cool contests . There will be something happening everyday so make sure you check in at least once a day for a chance to win something and get them lathes cleaned up and your tools sharpened for some penmaking fun . There will be NO LURKING ALLOWED .... well I guess you could lurk if you want to but why would anyone want to lurk when they could be having fun with the rest of us !!!! :confused::smile:

Ok I'm taking off my cheerleading outfit and putting away my Pom Poms for now but ... I'LL BE BACK !

Now Butch this is a family oriented website and there are other places for that kind of thing.:biggrin: Besides you are trying to entice people to participate not run the other way.

I'm hurt :frown: I think I look great in my cheerleaders outfit , even my wife says I have cute knees and I look adorable playing with my Pom Poms :rolleyes::tongue::biggrin:

Being part of the planning committee , I'm sworn to secrecy about the prizes but I can tell you that there will some fantastic prizes and all who come to the site will win a great prize ....... the continuance of the IAP for another year !!!! . Everyones support keeps the lights on here for another year .
