1st day of our local farmer's market! produce and foodstuff only but we join a coop every year where we get a bushel of veggies every week for the 25 weeks of the market...$20 a week and we get all we can handle.... today's basket had 2 quarts of strawberries, 3 heads of different lettuces, swiss chard greens, hothouse tomatoes, fresh basil, kale and another green I've never seen before, similar to collards....I'm a happy boy, good eats this week!

Very interesting concept. If you don't mind could you share some details about how the coop works? Or put me in touch with the organizer? Might be something I could get our local famrers market interested in doing.
