This morning I walked in and saw a picture they printed out and put on someone's computer. Several accused me of doing it. It's funny, but was not me.

Then just a few minutes ago, someone changed another coworkers status on their IM. She accused me.

My thing is if I do a joke, I take credit or blame. I guess it is time to give payback......

Years ago we had a manager that was a real jerk, He didn't like me (and I didn't like him) and was always looking for some excuse to get me in trouble. Well, on a weekend when very few were working a 'friend' put a printout on my desk that he thought was funny. The manager, james, saw it and had a fit. It didn't even pertain to him but he didn't like it. I almost got fired over it. The 'friend said he would take the rap until he found out he would be disciplined then rejected all knowledge of it. James was one of these young green behind the ears power hungry a_s kissers that thought the way to do something was to work hard not smart.

Anyway, sorry for the rant but Ed started it.

Glad I'm retired.

I work with a lot of retired chiefs and stuff like that. The problem is that so many will play a joke, but no take the credit. So often the one the joke is played on blames me, and I will remind them remember the ones you played on such and such, and I got blamed....

What is happening is two guys I work with went on a group motor cycle ride together, so the pictures of them photoshopped together have circulated. Just because I gave them the idea of them riding a tandum shwinn together....
