I picked a very used Panasonic Toughbook computer, and decided to see if I could get it to work in the shop. My modem/router is in on the other side of the house, about a hundred feet away. I bought a WLAN USB 2.0 adapter with an external antenna; plugged it in and... no joy.:frown: The house router didn't have enough juice to connect.
I called my service provider and told them that the modem they gave me five years ago wasn't cutting it; two days later they came out and gave me a new one and now I can connect from the shop! Yeah!
I set the IAP site as my homepage, and I can now surf at will. Problem is... I'm sitting here reading posts while I have five more pens to make to complete a 25 pen order that's due on Monday. Oh well, at least the computer works! Now I guess I better get my butt in gear as well!
