As some of you remember I posted about obtaining a finial cap for a Jr. Statesman. Well, I was convinced just to pull one from a kit and send it to the customer. Well I did just that and here is the pen that I made from the remaining parts. A Rhodium/Black Titanium Jr. Statesman Closed End Fountain Pen with white Marble Tru-Stone.

I really like that. My first and only closed end was not so pretty, so I haven't tried anymore. This inspires me to get over it and try again! Great job!

Parts needed

Hey, Can you send me a finial and a clip? What to see what you'll make then...

:befuddled:

Steve that is gorgeous, I just got some tru stone from R & B Crafts and cannot wait to get it on the lathe!

You'll love it..

Get ready to wash out your micromesh often, it cuts TruStone beautifully
but catches all of the dust. But the finish on the pen will be smoother than
the plating on the kit.

It seems the situation turned out well for everyone. Nice solution for the missing parts, I really like the pen.
