I do one show every year, the Monadnock Art Tour, and, though I have a website, the Tour is where I make most of my sales. I have been working on two kitless pens, both of which have lots of threaded brass bits. These were supposed to be the highlights of my set up. The show starts on Saturday. Halfway through making my brass bits the HF metal lathe died. I checked the fuse, and it was OK. I was now in a major panic. I have to finish these two pens. Little Machine shop to the rescue! THey have a document on trouble shooting the Taig style lathes. It turned out to be a loose connection on the on/off switch.. An easy fix. Now I can finish my show pieces. I was already looking at Precision Matthews as a replacement, but now it lookslike I'll have my trusty HF for awhile. Others may find this link useful Troubleshooting the Mini Lathe
