I guess there is 2 ways to look at it Chuck but I am sort of with you on this thought. I know some people can use them as pill holders but it struck me as an odd item . I guess I will ask, has anyone made something like this for this purpose

Who are we to determine how someone else mourns? I've seen mothers wear the hair of their dead child in a pendant and hoped they found solace in that. Whatever brings them comfort as long as it doesn't cause harm to someone else? More power to them.

Susan you are so right but that was not my point. We see here and with various kit dealers they sell all kinds of bullet casing pens and rifle pens and steampunk tommy gun kits. We see them sell shell casing key chains. We also see these people sell pill holders. Just was wondering how long it will be before these same people sell these as urns???

Weather you find it comforting or morbid is a personal thing. This is not a judgmental thread.

You have to agree though it is a marketing idea. I have never seen this but on Ebay there are all kinds of these and they are coming from China. With all the China kits sold i say it is just a matter of time.

My other question was maybe someone here is doing this already and would like to share their thoughts and experiences. Seems easy enough to do being the components are out there already.
