Yesterday was my 1st day off work since Mid-February :bulgy-eyes
it happens every year - I do taxes). I'm relatively new to turning but haven't been able to turn anything since sometime in January. Since I wasn't able to turn I bought stuff:smile-big:.
I'm not sure how many kits I've picked up in the last couple of months - at least 30, but probably closer to 60:good:. I'm not sure how many blanks I've received - at least 40, but probably closer to 80:good::good:. It's all in little piles scattered around our house - at my desk in the basement, on my dresser, on the lathe, on my workbench . . . I still have one more order that I think I "need" to place.
My wife and I have a friend that is a psychologist (haven't seen her in 5 years since she moved to Alaska). We used to sit around and talk about life and every now and then she would chime in with "there's a name for that!" referring to a psychology term that describes some silly habit that one of use has.
Wondering if she would say - there's a name for that!:
(I do trust her judgment - after all she does some turning herself!)
My first task is for my daughter and I to turn 10 pens for ServicePens.
