Is This a 60* Center Point?

As rte title says, I'm wondering if this is a 60* live center. My old PSI center played out and I need a replacement ASAP and I ca get it through Amado with free shipping.

It is, but having only 1 bearing is not for all i wouldn't buy one.

There are actually some solid ones on eBay with triple bearings at a reasonable cost. I have one.

I have the nova set coming but more for other turning then pens probably.

Or you could buy the one from penturnersproducts which has excellent reviews among our members.

With that short pointy section, the bearing would be in the way. The angle does look about right.

Yea... I didn't even think about the single bearing. I was just checking out some of the stores in the area and ran across that. Shipping from most places makes it tough when you're looking for a single item. I guess I'll stick with my plan A.

I'd go with this before that

Don't know the current quality, but the on I bought years ago is still working perfect today and has had a good deal of heavy material used with it.

I should add - if the diameter of the point suits your intended use.

I bought one from Johnnycnc about 2 years ago and it is still going strong and has outlasted all the others I have tried.
