Is there any kit for highlighters?

A friend who has commissioned a few pens from me in the past has asked if there is anything that could be done for customer highlighters. Whether thats a highlighter kit or just come type of cover.....anyone ever heard of such a thing?

I made one that I ordered direct from Rizheng that was made to fit a standard sharpie marker. It looks similar to the one linked by elyk864 from Berea.

What I found is that the cap didn't seal well enough and the sharpie dried out.

Maybe the ones from Berea are different.

Would this kit work on this refill? My daughter in law just asked if I could make her a pen that would take this refill. Thanks for your help.

BCnabe, the ones from Berea had the same problem. I made a few of them and they all dried out.

Not much help from Berea. Basically they just said that they've used the refill before so they weren't sure. I'll give it a try and see what the outcome is. I just hope I don't waste the money on this kit and bushings only to find out it doesn't work.
