Made this pen from Tiger striped Maple, Walnut, and Buckeye Burl, with a top that has been milled thru to allow a view of the nib. I have had this pen for 2 years, and having it open like this has not caused the ink cartridge to dry. C&C's appreciated, thank you.

One thing I've learned though, is not to cut too many openings or give it too much of a twist, it does make the top weaker.
