Is it possible to get high gloss with WTF?

I tried WTF for the first time today after watching the video on Exotic Blanks. After sanding with 1200, I wasn't satisfied with the shine it had. It had a shine, but not nearly as glossy as CA. So I went up to 12000 with MM. It helped, but still didn't have the gloss that CA does. Is there any way to get the gloss of CA with WTF?

CA is essentially a plastic - it takes as high a gloss as you can make on a pen. ANy other finish would be hard pressed to be as shiny, sort of a hard-cured plasticized finish...

More coats and buff. You can get very close if not as glossy as CA. Let it dry for a day before buffing.
