Ok, this is getting old I know, but ai tried a yellow Sharpie brand marker on a corn cob. The cob happend to be one with a hole in it, so it wasn't going on a pen. Dropped a little CA on it and the stuff turned as red as I've ever seen. I'm using the Sattelite City Hot Stuff brand CA. I haven't tried the food coloring yet. I did get some Zinnser Seal Coat. That will work. You have to apply a couple heavy coats, let cure for a few hours, couple more coats and you won't get any more color transfer. If you don't let the Seal Coat cure for a couple hours, no matter how much you apply, the new coat always melts the previous coat and you get color transfer. Then apply the CA. Nobody else has mentioned this, so I suppose the laws of chemistry could change in my garage, if so maybe I can invent time travel or something.

Been meaning to try the food coloring. Haven't had a chance to go out and find any. Other stuff going on, but I guess instead of fooling with the other stuff I could use that time to go find some.
