Have just cut up some more bog oak blanks and have also cut some bog yew. They are 7/8" square and 5 1/2" long. $10 each. Anyone interested in the yew please be aware that yew is prone to heat checks so when sanding try and keep the heat down.
If anyone needs blanks for bottle stoppers let me know as I don't turn them and wouldn't normally cut them.

Shipping for 5 pen blanks is around $8 and for 10 it's a little over $15 but $15 is fine.

FYI, the IBO blanks that I got from Keith are beautiful and very solid blanks... you will not be disappointed!

Mike

I too would be interested.

If it would be advantageous to ship the lumber, let us know. I can always cut blanks. I am ignorant about the approved government processes of international shipping.

Keith do you have any that are grip size?

I finally gotten time to work on the last set you sent me. Hopefully this weekend I will have them finished and post pictures.

I sure do. Looking forward to seeing the photos of that. The pieces I sent were quarter-sawn and should look amazing when finished.

Father Jack!! Fe...k, arse, drink, GIRLS! and my personal favorite:
Mrs. Doyle: Now what do you say to a cup?
Father Jack Hackett: Fe...k off, cup!

OT - but I caught the avatar and had to post...

I have a bog oak burl but haven't cut it. I had a nice piece of bog yew burl that I turned a vase from but never got blanks for pens from it. I do have one bog yew burl blank that is just long enough for the long clicker pen or maybe a Zen.

I love watching it and my younger sister watches it all the time. She has it on dvd. Can't pick a favourite episode, they're all funny.

I have the entire series on Blu-Ray. :) Amazon put it on sale right before Christmas.

The blanks I had cut are now sold. I don't think I'll be cutting anymore of this and will no longer be selling it. I have a few packages to send out, so if you haven't received your blanks they are either on their way or will be posted tomorrow. I apologise for the delay.
