Just got my I phone today. Seems I'll be calling my grandaughter:wink: to show me how best to use it.

I get to play with an iPad at work and that satisfies any curiosity I have about it at this time. And I'm plenty happy with an older Blackberry that servers me well for it purpose - getting reliable email and listening to my Dave Ramsey podcasts ;-).

Most the other "cool" stuff the iphones do, I don't have much use for, so I haven't had much interest. Nor do I have much interest in supporting apple for any of their products just for "I'm cool because I have an ipod/iphone/ipad/mac" product from them.

All that said, the one thing I DO like about the iPad is the eBay app does an Awesome job of showing off the pens in my ebay store!
And I like the ibook and kindle readers as well.

I'm on my fourth generation of IPhones. I have also owned Blackberries, Droids, etc. Nothing else that I have owned comes remotely close to being able to do all this one does. I can talk on the phone, use the GPS to guide me to my location and surf or e-mail, all at the same time.

And then when I finish with the phone my "tunes" come back on track.

Call me a dinasour but I don't even carry a cell phone any more, once I retired I disconnected and am happy I did...I have a digital watch though :)

Can't justify (nee afford) the monthly cost of an iPhone, but the iPod Touch has been a great replacement for my old string of Palm PDAs.

I love my iPad! And when we found that my Wife was borrowing it more and more, she allowed me to get her an iPad of her own for Mother's Day!

Scott.

No touch here, all Droid in my life. Keep a lot of things with gdoc that syncs into my google docs so I can access them anytime anywhere I can get a signal. Nice to put that little thing my wife says she wants as you walk though the store onto a gift list anytime the opportunity strikes.

I also keep a list of all the things I think I might like to buy sometime, similar to my bucket list!

Apple is good at innovation, but I chaf under the thumb of telling what I can and cannot do with a device I own.

On my christmas list will be a tablet, maybe quad-core for some gaming, but mainly reading books and my extensive set of scanned woodworking magazines.

I have Droid, I-Pad and I-Pod touch. Maybe I'll look into I-Phone now that they are offerd by Verizon. But I couldn't be happier with my Droid, it would be hard to give it up.

I have an ipod and an old "dumb" cell phone. Haven't found a desire for the others yet. I get all the technology I need at work!
