Stood in line from 7 am until 5 pm and got one of the first ipad2's. Thinner, faster, and lighter... And the same price. I'm enjoying it!

Grizz, I never had the first one so you're out of luck.

BTW, I stood in line because I had a free day and had a bunch of work-related reading to do. Had to do it somewhere, so why not?

Plus, my bday is today and I wanted a new toy to play with this weekend :)
 
iPads are great and I don't regret getting the first version. We have used it almost exclusively since we got it instead of the computer. It really helped when our computer went down.

Enjoy the new toy - we all deserve toys on our birthday.

We have apple and droid products in the home. I would agree with the droid phones but I would go with the iPad over any other tablets so far. That may change but right now I think iPad has the better product. IMHO
