I've been aware of this forum for some time, but just joined. I'm not a turner, but rather a woodworker with interest in oddball and unusual woods.

I joined now because I have some good pen blank material that came along with some other wood. I'll pay a bit more attention to posts, and once I have my head around things, should be posting to see if anyone has anything interesting to trade.

I have been surprised at the many varied kinds of unusual woods available from people on this forum.
