Very impressive work although I was kinda surprised to see that the last pen's clip was attached by brass screws.

I am always impressed with their work. The third pen in the post doesn't do anything for me, though. The second and third pens look like very early work.

Got to meet Brian at a pen show a few years ago, told him he should add an extra 0 to their pen prices. Their recent pens are even more spectacular.

At $333 each....well, to each his own.

Don't get me wrong, I can see the different styles and level of artistic workings going on, but there isn't a desire to get the checkbook out...even at 1/10th the asking price.

Scott (too much is bad too) B

I saw a few other pics of his stuff, I agree the price needs to be alot higher. I cant imagine the amount of work that would take. I like the top one best.

Give me those at the right venue and the top two could go for two grand the third one a grand, if they were made by me. The venues I'm speaking of I couldn't sell someone else's work.

I've always been in awe of their craftsmanship. Amazing and so unique. I was trying to see what kind of nib was being used but I'm on my smart phone and couldn't make out the name.

I think this is one of those situations where the pics do the work a serious injustice. The crappy selective focus, the flowers, and the lighting take away from the pens and their artistry.

If they were set out as the sole focus of the image I think we could get a much better idea of the artistry of the pens.

Martin, I'll stand corrected but I'm 99% sure that they use the Bexley Nib from the Bexly custom pen company. The part that I'm not sure about is who makes their nibs. I would think either JoWo or Bock as 90% of all high end pen companies get their nibs private labled from either of those two, if they don't make thier nibs in house and I don't think Bexley makes their own nibs.

last time i talked to a Bexley rep at a pen show, they do make their own nibs, in house, in the USA. This is one of their big claims to fame, 100% made in the USA.

As good as this sounds, they are not 100% USA made. While they may make there own nibs ( i dont know this), they do not make there clips, as i know who provides them to him and they are overseas. He also doesnt make the resins that he uses, so they arent 100%. I think the 100% refers to being produced and assembled in the USA and not outsourced, not they make all of the materials used on there pens. Not trying to start an off topic debate or tarnish what Bexley claims, just stating a fact. Is is extremely hard for a pen maker to make everything that they use on there pens.

Then I'll stand corrected!!!
