Finally got around to finishing these a few weeks ago.
First off we have some spalted pecan (lighter wood) and spalted mango (darker wood). I started these about 1 1/2 years ago. Had problems with the finish on both, so they sat around for a while. Happy with how they turned out. The Mango pen sold the day I brought it into the office, so I had to take a quick picture of it before it left.

I have had these 2 inlay kits for a couple years as well. These are fun to make. The curly maple used as the background would make a fantastic pen by itself.

These last 2 have a bit of a story. Back in the early 90's I worked at a camp called Pleasant Vineyard Ministries as the groundskeeper. Before the place became PVM it was Camp Myron Kahn (a boy scout camp). 2 years ago the new owners of the place gutted the main building and I was able to get some of the cedar from the interior paneling. These 2 pens are going to the folks who owned and operated the place for about 30 years (while I worked there).

Thanks for looking!
