Ink Pump

Ok all. I have ran the search for ink pumps and came up with nothing. I know this has been discussed before but here goes. I made my first FP Baron and I can't remember the reason for the ink pump. Any informatiion would be greatly appreciated.

The ink cartridge supplied is if a client want to use a cartridge, the pump or converter would replace the ink cartridge if the person wants to use bottle ink. I would just put the converter in the pen.

All of the kits come with a cartridges. The piston convertor is there so that you can use you own bottled ink. Also it is a lot cheaper going the convertor route than the cartridge.
