I'm featured on a local arts group Facebook page today

A local photographer asked me several months ago to participate in a local project. He was going to take pictures of local artists to be featured on Arts Partners of Central IL Facebook page all month. I'm featured for a couple hours today. Pretty fun for me, and a coincidence since today is also my 60th birthday. Good for the soul to be recognized for your art since I've been making furniture in the basement for over 40 years, and woodturning for 27 years. Sorry for the gloat, just can't help myself. Funny, the photographer used a nickname that I was stuck with 40 years ago when I started working at Caterpillar. Hope my Mom doesn't see the nickname, she still hates it when people call me that.

Thanks everyone. It was a quiet day, still not used to the kids living so far away. I'd be more upset about the age, but I will be retiring next summer. The countdown clock has been started at my desk at work, 10 months and counting.
