I just wanted to say thank you to all of my friends on this forum, you have all been so generous as i learned not only about penturning, but how there really are nice people left on the earth...

I haven't been on the forums much but its going to get even worse since im heading out on an LDS mission for the next 2 years tonight which means i wont be able to log on. If anyone lives around St. Louis Missouri and could give me some tips on how to survive around there that would be awesome...

Hopefully ill get back into penturning when i get back and maybe, just maybe i can contribute half as much back to you as you did to me.

Your friend, Jonathan

The church did not let a friend of mine take his synthesizers on his mission so to keep himself from going nuts a long way from home he taught himself how to play guitar. He said it was either eat or find another hobby. He chose the hobby for health reasons. Take care of yourself and have fun.

Thanks! i want to try and learn a language and then all the little fun things like juggling, yoyo-ing, twirling pencils around my fingers... you know, the important stuff ;) Ill have to add learning to play the guitar to my list!

Good luck, Jonathan. The time flies when you work hard. You will probably find that you are a better turner when you get back.
