Hello everyone,

I'm sure that you have all heard about the senseless tragedy that happened at the Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday. I have clearance from Jeff and Mike Broberg (IAP Activities manager) to post links to fundraisers that will help the victims and the community.

The first link is to a radio station that I listen to and they have pledged that 100% of every dollar collected will go to the fund. It will be a call in from 6:00 AM eastern time to 6:00 pm.

Donate to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund | www.wplr.com

The second link is direct to the United way

I understand that this is a rough time of the year for everyone. I just wanted to make it a little easier for you if you were wondering where you could go to help.

Thank you for reading.

Thanks everyone

I wanted to thank everyone who read my post and especially thank those who donated. The radio station alone received over $162,000.00in phone donations and I have not found out how much was donated over the web (which I had to do because I could not get through on the phone).

I did not mention that I knew a teacher and a student who were killed in the tragedy and I Just got off the phone with the little boy's father and he asked me to relay his heartfelt thank you to everyone who has given support through donations and their thoughts and prayers. His family and the other families of the victims are overwhelmed and very appreciative of all the support received.

Thank you again,

Scott Hettel

Thanks for posrting this Scott. I spent the entire week standing in the lines waiting for the unwanted parties to show up, but they never came even though they were in a motel in Southington. Maybe they couldn't get all their flat tires fixed.
