Can someone please identify this blank used for the steampunk pump crank pen that is listed on Exotic Blanks website?
My wife saw these pens and fell in love but she really likes this blank.

That's a a "stock" photo by Penn State. Often times companies show off a finished pen when selling the sets. The blanks are sometimes available but not always.

That is a Penn State kit not an exotic blank kit. Who makes their pens I have no idea. Exotic sells PSI kits. Maybe you can ask them
So, I asked, here is their response.

Q: What blank was used to make the sample pen illustrated on this page? The turquoise blue with the assortment of watch parts?
A: That is a watch parts blnk. It is made by gluing watch parts to a tube and casting a clear resin blank around it.

Me thinking: (Insert snide response here)

That sure did not help. I am sure every vendor has people that make samples for their catalogs. I use to make samples for a scrollsawing magazine. They may have a few people working for them. Good luck.

I've seen watch part pen blanks like that over at Turner's Warehouse. I get the impression it's just a guy making them individually and selling them through TW. Stock seems to vary wildly, from what I can tell, at the time of posting this comment, there's only one of them currently in stock.
