This is an Icon pen in brass from PSI. The wood is unknown. The finish is Mylands.

I thought zebrawood too, but it's lighter than other zebrawood I've turned. This is zebrawood.

Jim I have to say you sure do try many kits. Have never seen this kit. Can you tell us a little more about it? The likes and dislikes. Where can you get it. How is it to write with compared to other kits. very Interesting. As always nice job

OK I just found this from PSI. I guess the whole concept behind this kit is that you can use Bic refills only.

Yes I agree with what you just wrote, but I have seem some very narrow stripes of medium dark on some zebra wood. The same for marble wood. In general, your post does not look like the regular ZW or MW that I would use, but I have seen lighter versions of both and narrower stripes too.

Yes, the Icon is unusual in that it uses refills from a Bic Round Stic pen. I haven't written with one much, but several people I've made them for love them. I've had to refill theirs several times.

I've made a few Icon kits. The bic refills are good. The other thing I like is that it's a single long tube, really shows the wood well. Nice and skinny for people that don't want the bigger diameters.
