I wanted to share a little story about how great our members are. Last week one of members advertised a lathe for sale in Dayton Oh. I have been thingking about buying a smaller lathe for several weeks now. I just happened to be the second post on the Lathe. The first person who posted asked for photos and I jumped in and said that I would purchase the lathe. I believe that I agrivated him. I posted, that I should have said that I would purchase it if he didn't want it. He posted a few minutes later and said that I could have it. He was gratious.

Here where Jeff went above and beyond. He sold the lathe as a local pick up. It just so happened that my parents were attending a conference in Dayton last weekend. Jeff went completely out of his way to deliver the lathe at their hotel so they wouldn't have to drive around an unfamiliar town trying to find him. That is what makes this group so special. We will go above and beyond to help a fellow turner out. Thanks you so much Jeff.

Glad you could use it! I apologize if I originally appeared aggravated - was not you, just an interesting week. Originally, if it had not been a 1014, I was going to take it and sell my friend my lathe.
Jeff was a great seller in my estimation, and I am glad you had a way of getting it easily!
