That looks pretty neat. $160 looks like a bargain. I'd hate to see what that would cost in the UK though, probably around £250.
I couldn't tell from the video, but I wonder if the top end of the blade gets any guides or supports? It would be a really useful tool if there is some sort of roller guide wheel in the top arm.

I didn't see the first thread on this till now. I guess what I like the most about this is that there are a vast amount of jigsaw blades that can cut many types of materials while a bandsaw has limited blade types. I don't think it's fair to compare the HP of this to a bandsaw either. Bandsaws are most often a direct drive from motor to wheel, while I'm sure that jigsaws get mechanical advantage via a gearbox arrangement. I'd still like one
