I have been wanting a quality live center. I haven't used it yet but it appears to be very well built, better be for the price. I wanted one with threads so I could make my own add ons. I also ordered the special penmaking point, it hasn't arrived yet. As fast as tool prices are rising I figured I'd just get it now rather than pay even more later. I probably won't have much use for the large cone, but who knows.

You will like it Ken-- one came with my lathe and it is very handy. The cones are nice to center and support open vessels.

Do you have a planned use for the cone? Craft supply sells an adapter for this live center for your chuck. Congrats.
No plans yet but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point. Yes I have seen that adapter.

Ken: Been a one way customer for years and have been running two of there live centers. Made up a lot of goodies using the threaded end. Like make said good stuff servers us well. Pen point works really well on TBC for me.
