For a $100.00 table fee I spent the day showing my wares at a Costco in Orlando. Without going into details I will say I did well. Apparently they do this about once a month at their stores. There were 25 or so other vendors none of which had anything to do with Art or woodturning of any kind. I'll be there next month and most likely several after that. If you want to get into an area where it seems our products are not well known, this may be the place.

According to the other vendors it is pretty much nation wide. A lot of business people use Costco for business supplies and were for the most part up to speed on nice pens. I was approached by several women about custom turnings for thier home.

Well, I'm glad that you did well. I don't think I've ever seen private vendors in our Costco. They do have touring specials like furniture and pianos but never anything else. So did you make the $100.00 back? I hope you did.[:)]
