I need help!

I have a customer ho has some military shells - don't know what shell yet - but she wants some steam punk pens made from those shells. I am looking for ideas, where to go, etc. I know there are many who have made steam punk pens but have those been made from actual shells? Looking for some advice and ideas!

When you say steampunk, first off why not just make the shells into a pen themselves?? Next are you talking watch parts or just metal junk parts for lack of a better word?? I am sure you could solder stuff on the shells like gears and wires. No sense casting in clear. Google Steampunk pens and click on images and you will see a bunch. Maybe get ideas off them.

If you have instagram, look up this guy I will attach below...he makes steampunk pens using real shells / cartridges, some pretty wild looking stuff.
