Hello, just a small wood gloat of my own. I got this Cherry thats has spalting and even some curly grain to it from the side of the road. A few hours later I have a bunch of half blanks. The one pic has some waxed to show the colors off. I used candle wax for the first time on the ends of the blanks and will never use anything else on my pen blanks it works great. I will still use anchorseal on my bowl blanks for the ease of brushing it on. LandfillLumber(Victor)

This kinda reminds me of the one pound of gold wire I once 'recovered' from the median of the expressway. That paid for some of my college expenses at the time. []
