Here is a matching set of Americana's in Mascassar Ebony that I have made for my supervisor's bosses. (aka project brown-nose) 
The cases were modified by cutting off the red (paduck?) ends and replacing them with matching wood from the pen blanks. The whole case was re-sanded and lacquered.
This looks like the last set on my Craftsman lathe, the 1930's Delta is going into service this week. Got a brandy new MT-2 mandrel mounted up. Just need to fine tune the motor mount and measure for the new belt. [8D]
