I found out...

CA will melt off a blank with enough pressure and friction generated! I read somewhere that to get the friction polishes to shine on a CA finish you want it to smoke[:0]
So I tried it...you don't want it to start smoking! Melted the CA right off one side of my pen hahahaha[B)]

If you have a good CA finish, there is really no need to put a friction finish on top of it.

Thanks Randy...I am still new and learning. So much info and so many different techniques. Trying as much as I can to see what I like the most.

I use the Hut bar stuff as filler now and then under ca and it does help some hard to work with woods imo like black palm ! !~!!

This is the best thing to do! There are so many different ways to do things around here that you really need to try various ways and pick what works best for you.
